COMPUTEX TAIPEI 2003 September 22-26 Is back on track just in time!
WITH NEW A21 PAVILION!!!
TAIWAN OFF SARS LIST! July 11, 2003 - "Hurrah!!"
  07/15/2003
That cheer echoing across the computer world was heard loudest in Taipei as thousands danced and sang in the streets alongside marching bands. The celebrations on Saturday July 5, was not your normal Saturday night fever - but came in response to the World Health Organization (WHO) taking Taiwan off the list of areas with recent local transmissions of SARS.

The "all-clear" from WHO comes after a strict 20-day wait, more than twice the incubation period for SARS. Such a review is vital for COMPUTEX'03 which welcomes more than 70,000 visitors, including 20,000 foreign buyers.
